Located in the charming city of Sebring, recently picked for the HGTV show Home Town Takeover, Joy Bamboo Forest Farm is in close proximity to a few beautiful crystal clear lake beaches, Highlands Hammock State Park, and the famous Sebring International Raceway. Centrally located, Sebring is within a couple hours drive to most Florida destinations, with a train station a couple miles away from the farm.

Joy Bamboo Forest Farm is only 5 to 10 minutes away from major stores and various restaurants, hospitals, parks, laundromats and all the modern conveniences. If you like fishing you can fish right from the City Pier or rent a boat from a few different boat rental places in the area. If you are into golf there are over a dozen quality golf courses offering great value. If you like to bike, there are a number of great bike trails in the area. You can even bike to a small beach from the farm. There are other farms in the area, which offer additional agritourism opportunities, such as a winery or a citrus farm which offers orange ice cream. For more fun activities, Charlie Brown Park has a lot of pickle-ball courts, a skate park and a large playground. The YMCA in Sebring has two outdoor heated swimming pools to enjoy year round, they offer daily passes as well as have reciprocity with other YMCAs nationwide, if you have a membership.
